The Tradition Continues!The Derby/Shelton Rotary Club hosted the senior members of the Derby and Shelton High football teams prior to their big Thanksgiving Day game. Shelton DayDerby/Shelton Captures District 7980 Awards Congratulations to Tom Nickse who has been honored as our club's recipient at the Annual Norman K. Parsells Award Luncheon. Shelton Day Rotarians attending the wedding of club member David Grant, Jr. also had the pleasure of celebating the newest Paul Harris Fellow - Marge DellaMonica. Marge is the wife of Tony DellaMonica and an institution with the Derby/Shelton Club. Project Warmth - 115 kids have new coats. Watch for story and video later this week. More on the R.I. website

Derby/Shelton Rotary Supports Haitian Relief In a spontaneous gesture of generosity, members of the Derby/Shelton Rotary Club have donated over $1,500 for Haitian Relief. The Club is donating $500, and members dug into their own pockets for more than $1,000 more in additional donations. The funds will be donated through the Rotary Foundation. The Lobster Guys (Ron East & Dave Grant) cooked up a storm at the Lobster & Steak Dinner on Sept. 19. (more pictures here) Rotary puts trolleys back on Derby streets
