Committe Chair Ed Sheehy and Rotary President Lucy Andrade flank winners Cassie Silkoff, Quilan Gray, Syndell Cooper, Victoria Lee,Danielle Russon and Ava Bottone. Charles Pereira was not able to attend.<\/p><\/div>\n

The Derby-Shelton Rotary club announced the winners of its 2025 Scholarship Program<\/a> at a luncheon attended by the winning students, their parents, and school administrator held at the Brownson Country Club. There were seven presentations made at the event totaling $22,000:<\/p>\n

Shelton High School<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Derby-Shelton Rotary Four-year Scholarship – $8,000 – Victoria Lee<\/p>\n

Derby-Shelton Rotary President Scholarship – $1,000 – Ava Battone<\/p>\n

Derby-Shelton Rotary Scholarship In Memory of the Deceased Rotarians – $1,500 – Charles Pereira<\/p>\n

Derby-Shelton Rotary Scholarship $1,500 – Danielle Russo<\/p>\n

Derby High School<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Derby-Shelton Rotary Scholarship Four-year Scholarship – $8,000 – Cassandra Silkoff<\/p>\n

Derby-Shelton Rotary President Scholarship $1,000 – Quilan Gray<\/p>\n

Derby-Shelton Rotary Scholarship $1,500 – Syndell Cooper<\/p>\n

Ed Sheehy, Chairman of the Scholarship Committee congratulated the students and thanked the members of the committee who had the difficult task of reviewing the large number of applications received this year and making the decisions on the winners.<\/p>\n
