{"id":3614,"date":"2021-11-30T17:57:16","date_gmt":"2021-11-30T22:57:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/derby-sheltonrotary.org\/?p=3614"},"modified":"2022-10-10T13:41:10","modified_gmt":"2022-10-10T17:41:10","slug":"another-successful-year-for-operation-warmth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/derby-sheltonrotary.org\/blog\/another-successful-year-for-operation-warmth\/","title":{"rendered":"Another Successful Year for Operation Warmth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/derby-sheltonrotary.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/TEAM-OW-002.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3615\" src=\"https:\/\/derby-sheltonrotary.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/TEAM-OW-002.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"389\" height=\"519\" srcset=\"https:\/\/derby-sheltonrotary.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/TEAM-OW-002.jpg 389w, https:\/\/derby-sheltonrotary.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/TEAM-OW-002-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 389px) 100vw, 389px\" \/><\/a>Every year, since 2008, Derby-Shelton Rotary has provided new, warm coats from <em>Operation Warm <\/em>to the children in TEAM&#8217;s early childhood programs for children 6 weeks to 5 years.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/teaminc.org\/\"><em><strong>TEAM, Inc<\/strong><\/em><\/a> is a human services agency whose mission is to strengthen our communities.\u00a0 This year, with a District Matching Grant from Rotary, we were able to provide 97 new coats and 36 new shoes.\u00a0 This is the first year we had the option to provide shoes.<\/p>\n<p><em>Operation Warm <\/em>is a national nonprofit that manufactures brand-new, high-quality coats and shoes for children in need.
