President Judy Gulish has announced that the Derby-Shelton Rotary Club has approved grants totaling $10,500. She said that despite this year of COVID, the Club was still able to touch the lives of many people in our community. She thanked\u00a0 everyone who helped raise funds this year to continue the grants program.<\/p>\n
Grants are being made to the following organizations:<\/p>\n
Boy Scouts Housatonic Council – $2,500<\/p>\n
Junior Achievement- $1,500<\/p>\n
Parent Child Resource Center – $1500,<\/p>\n
New Haven Symphony Orchestra – $1,000 (for the Shelton family concert series)<\/p>\n
Girl Scouts of CT – $1,000<\/p>\n
cARTie (a mobile art museum)-$500<\/p>\n
Boys and Girls Club – $2,500<\/p>\n
The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services – $2,000 (For shelter furniture).<\/p>\n
