There are seven awards this year to students at Derby and Shelton High Schools. This year&#8217;s recipients are:<\/p>\n<p>Chromik\/Turaj Scholarship ($8,000 over four years) &#8211; Kaitlyn Gerckens &#8211; Derby High School<\/p>\n<p>Tierney\/Fowler Scholarship ($8,000 over four years) &#8211; Michael Brown &#8211; Shelton High School<\/p>\n<p>Handi Scholarship ($1,500) Gladiola Teodori &#8211; Shelton High School<\/p>\n<p>Deceased Rotarians Scholarship ($1,500) &#8211;\u00a0 Arthur Newberg &#8211; Derby High School<\/p>\n<p>Dickgiesser Scholarship ($1,500) &#8211; Spencer Hatfield &#8211; Shelton High School<\/p>\n<p>President&#8217;s Scholarship ($1.000) &#8211; Jamie Santiago &#8211; Derby High School<\/p>\n<p>President&#8217;s Scholarship ($1.000) &#8211; Jake Oddo &#8211; Shelton High School<\/p>\n<p>Special thanks to Ed Sheehy and his committee including the guidance counselors from both high schools.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Even in these difficult times, the Derby-Shelton Rotary Club is pleased to announce the 2020 winners of Rotary scholarships.
