Derby Public Library Receives Gift

Derby Public Library is the latest community organization to benefit from the generosity of the Derby/Shelton Rotary Club. Actually, the club donated a new desk some time ago, but just recently held a dinner meeting in the new meeting room at the library and then took time to view the new desk/learning center along with a plaque honoring the club for its donation.

The library which first opened in 1902 went through a major expansion and renovation and was rededicated in May, 2000. Click here, to take an on-line tour of this beautiful new library.
